Clear, Honest Pricing for Deck Cleaning
Deck Cleaning Cost Breakdown
We provide visual, area-based estimates to ensure fair pricing for each deck based on:
- Square footage and deck zones (front, back, poolside).
- Type of material (concrete, wood, composite).
- Time and effort to remove/reposition furniture.
- Presence of paint, fragile coatings, or rot.
- Tight spaces or second-story decks that affect access.
Minimum charge for deck-only services may match the $200 base rate we use for other exterior cleaning jobs.
Bundle Pricing and Maintenance Plan Discounts
Sundance Window Cleaning offers custom maintenance plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold) that include professional fence cleaning, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and house washing services.
Add deck cleaning to any plan and qualify for discounted bundled pricing. You can also add outdoor furniture pressure washing on the spot.

Surfaces We Clean Deck Materials and Methods

Wood and Painted Decks

Concrete Decks

Even though concrete can handle higher PSI, our technicians still inspect your surface for stains and tailor the pressure accordingly to protect your deck. Extra scrubbing helps us tackle tire marks or dirt trapped in textured finishes.

Composite and Pool Decks

We use the same low-pressure cleaning for wood and composite deck care. When cleaning pool decks, we pay extra attention to areas that pose slip hazards and water runoff zones to protect you against potential liabilities. We can also clean your pool furniture during the same visit upon request.

What Our Customers in
Salt Lake and Summit County Are Saying
We take a lot of pride in being reliable, prepared, and respectful of our customers’ homes, so hearing that we arrived on time, worked efficiently, and had everything needed to get the job done, even with the outdoor faucets off for winter, means a lot to us.
Your feedback genuinely encourages us and reflects the level of care we put into every job. We're grateful for customers like you who notice the details. If you ever need anything in the future, we’d be thrilled to help again!
When I originally scheduled the quote, I was told that they clean the window sills and the outsides of the window frames as part of the service. But when I called with my concerns after the job was done, I was suddenly informed that those items are actually “extra charges,” which completely contradicts what I was told initially.
While they were here, I also asked for a price to have the window tracks cleaned. The office person told me they didn’t have time that day but would call me with a quote for the future. She never called back with a price—instead, I received a voicemail saying they supposedly did clean the tracks and were planning to bill me for it. Not only was I told they weren’t doing them, but when I checked the tracks myself, they were still dirty and clearly not cleaned well (if at all).
When I called to tell them they broke multiple window screens, they didn’t apologize or offer to fix them—they simply tried to claim the screens were already damaged, which was absolutely not the case.
Overall, the workmanship was poor, the communication was misleading, and the lack of accountability was shocking. I cannot recommend this company at all.
The service was completed at a remote property outside of our normal service area following an on-site estimate. We never met or spoke directly with the property owner, which is not uncommon in our second-home market. After receiving this review, we thoroughly reviewed our records and call logs and spoke directly with the technician who completed the work. He is one of our most trusted and experienced employees, and nothing in our review supports the statements made here.
We made multiple attempts to contact the property owner with no response. Due to the unusual circumstances surrounding this job, we conducted additional due diligence and discovered this may be part of a broader pattern involving non-payment for services, including legal disputes with other service providers. We are formally disputing this review with Google and are pursuing other appropriate options.
We stand behind our team and our work, and we appreciate the continued trust of our customers.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I have multiple decks on my property—are they cleaned and quoted separately?
Yes, each deck is assessed and quoted as a separate zone. This ensures accurate pricing based on the layout, size, and accessibility of each area. If you have a front and back deck, for example, they’ll be cleaned as individual sections.
Can you clean my deck if I’m not home, or do I need to be present?
You do not need to be home for deck cleaning. As long as we have clear access and any pets are secured, our technicians can complete the job and follow up with photos and communication after the service.
Do I need to clear the deck or move any furniture before your team arrives?
No, we handle moving all standard outdoor furniture as part of the service. If there are delicate or valuable items, we recommend removing them in advance for safety.
Can I request only specific zones of my deck to be cleaned?
Yes, you can choose to have only certain areas cleaned. We’ll price your service based on the areas you select and the accessibility of those zones.
Will deck cleaning remove stains from things like grill grease, rust marks, or drink spills?
It depends on the type and severity of the stain. While our water-only pressure method removes general dirt and buildup, deep-set stains may require manual brushing or may not fully lift without chemical treatment, which we do not use.
Do you clean railings, steps, or built-in benches during the deck cleaning process?
Yes, attached deck features like railings and stairs are included as part of the cleaning. Built-in benches or planters will also be cleaned unless obstructed or unsafe.
Can I include deck cleaning in a long-term maintenance plan with recurring services?
Absolutely. Deck cleaning can be bundled into our seasonal maintenance plans, which also include services like window cleaning and house washing. Ask about our Bronze, Silver, or Gold options for customized schedules.
Will your process affect landscaping or potted plants placed near or on the deck?
We do our best to avoid disturbing any nearby landscaping. If you have potted plants on the deck, we recommend moving them off to prevent water pressure from damaging them or knocking them over.
Do you offer cleaning for rooftop or elevated decks with limited access?
We can clean elevated or rooftop decks if they are safely accessible. If the area poses safety risks or cannot be reached without specialized equipment, we may decline the service or recommend an alternative approach.
